Demonic Possession... as Real Today as it Ever Was

Christians really should learn more about demonic possession.  Whether you believe in the "other" spirit as an entity or as an internal issue/attitude within mankind, you should know more about how to win the battle.

Don't ignore it any longer.

Witnessing Demonic Possession

I will be sharing some in depth information with you here about a young man's "release" from evil spirits.  You can call it what you want, but I know what I saw.  It was demonic possession.

While on a mission trip in Kenya, I noticed this young man in the congregation for three days in a row.  Every time I saw him, he was staring at me exactly as you see him in this picture.  I actually got this image from a video I was taking from across a large room.  I was zooming in on the congregation's faces, because most of them were so happy.  I just wanted to capture their joy!  They did not know that I was filming, but this young man did.  As always, he was staring right at me with the same frightening look on his face.

Later in the week, he came forward for prayer.  The Kenyan leaders knew exactly what to do.  They demanded that we sing praises to God, while they prayed over this young man very authoritatively.  This seemed to go on for about 20 minutes.  It was rather frightening and was something I never thought I would have the opportunity to see.

While we sang and the leaders prayed, the young man pulled physically toward them.  Then, something would literally pull him back.  He would pull forward, and something would pull him back.  (Does that seem familiar to you?  Have you tried to quit any bad habits lately?)

Finally, he pulled forward and fell to the ground.  He was free. 

The next time I went to Kenya, again, I accidentally filmed him.  The same young man was dancing and singing, "Jesus is the Comando."  It was amazing.  The strange look on his face was gone and he was moving about freely, obviously whole and well.  He was released from an obvious demonic possession. 

I wonder what would have happened if he had not been released.  What if those leaders had not known what to do to help him?  That's a scary thought.  Maybe he would have shot a bunch of people in a parking lot somewhere.

Demonic possession, demonic oppression and excessive thinking are different aspects of extreme spiritual warfare.

We don't all experience a spiritual manifestation to this degree, but we do experience it.  Eventually, what is inside of us, comes out!  That can be a wonderful experience or it can be devastating.  The key is to change what is inside of us.

I believe that in many cases, people who suffer from this warfare are simply given pills to calm them or boost them.  The pills are not working.
